Pleasant View Woodworks is a family-run company established in 2018 by craftsman Tom Girotti,  who works in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, where he resides near Staunton.

 Tom shares:

Early influences were: my Dad, who liked to design and tinker with things around home; Norm Abrams of the New Yankee Workshop who opened up the world of woodworking to me and many other people; a co-worker in the 1980s, Otis, with whom I could trade ideas and stories about the woodworking projects we were working on; my loving wife and children who would encourage me on the early projects; and the Lord Jesus Christ, who graciously saved me and gave me a new heart to love and serve Him and other people.

After having transitioned from a career as an engineer and operational manager with an energy company, I am now practicing the woodworking trade as my main work and loving it!
