Having cut out and milled the rough blanks for all the parts, I now moved to making and shaping the end pieces,which will hold the whole coat rack together.

• Cut the dadoes and rabbets.
• Counterbored and drilled shank holes.
• Cut the curved shapes on the bandsaw, cleaned them up with a drum sander, hand rasp, and two grits of sandpaper.
• Routed 1/8" roundovers on the edges, then did some clean-up sanding.
